Behind the Ink
My name is Gee”Chino”Lagunas, and I've been in the tattoo industry for 9 years. I'm a self-taught tattoo artist who started from the bottom, with no formal apprenticeship. l've been drawing since I can remember, and art has always been a part of who l am.
Along the journey, there were some real-life obstacles that held me back from going full-time. I worked in a restaurant for a year, then spent about four years in construction. Even after long days, I would still come home and tattoo local people in the evenings-never letting go of my love for this craft.
In 2016, the opportunity finally came to tattoo full-time, and I didn't think twice. I took it that same day and haven't looked back since. Every tattoo I do is made with love, passion, and the constant drive to improve.
I like to connect with my clients by bringing their ideas to life-customizing unique pieces that carry meaning and reflect their story. It means a lot to me to share that process with them and help create something they'll carry forever.

This dude is always grinding to do more and make every piece his best. He is worth the hype and more! I spent 2 days in the chair with him and he cares about his clients. He views you choosing him as trust. And he goes and earns that trust and more. He goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable. Chino is a genuine guy with a real heart. My wife, friends and family are blown away with the amount of detail and artistry he displayed on my piece. The entire shop operates like a family and it is a cool experience to be a part of. The other artists in the shop would come over and get excited as the piece was coming together. All smiles and would hype you up. They have artists that specialize in different genres/styles of tattoos. If you’re not sure who does what, just ask and that will make sure that you are set up with the artist that will work best for what you want. Another thing that sets them apart from the rest is their commitment to continuing to get better. They look into seminars, reach out to other top artists and pick their brain on new methods and ways to achieve greatness.
Truly an amazing experience that I’ll never forget.
